By choosing to stay in this 18th-century gîte, you will be immersed in a place steeped in history where the key words are authenticity, comfort and refinement... You will be ideally located in the heart of the charming medieval village of Châteauneuf-en-Auxois and opposite the Château.
L'Echoppe Est Belle and la Seigneurie (21G2331 and 21G2332) merge to create a single, large gîte with a total capacity of 13 people. (2 extra beds available on request - maximum 15 people)
Ground floor: fully-equipped kitchen with hob, appliances, filter and Nespresso coffee machine, etc. Living room with flat-screen TV and a large 26 m2 bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC.
First floor: the landing leads on one side to 2 interconnecting bedrooms, one of which is 30 m2 with a very attractive shower room - separate WC and an alcove with a quality sofa bed (140x190cm) and a desk. On the other side, a fourth bedroom (terracotta floor tiles and exposed beams), with en suite shower room and direct access to a small terrace.
All the bedrooms are spacious, with queen-size beds (160x200cm) and flat-screen TVs.
On the second floor, the 100m2 gîte La Seigneurie comprises a spacious living room with an open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, wine cellar, Nespresso, etc.) and flat-screen TV.
2 bedrooms, one with a 140x190cm bed and the other, with its sublime high ceilings and beams, has a 160x200cm double bed. Tomettes on the floor, lovely views of the Château.
And to top it all off, you have access (a few steps up) to an extraordinary bathroom made of Burgundy stone. Bath, double walk-in shower, double washbasin and separate wc.
The combination of noble materials such as wood, Burgundy stone and terracotta tiles with modern touches makes this accommodation unique.
Pleasant little courtyard, enclosed and private (garden furniture, chiliennes and barbecue available).
All-inclusive gîte: heating, electricity, bathroom linen, beds made on arrival and end-of-stay cleaning. Pets welcome (€8 per day with animal deposit: €200)
Canal de Bourgogne at the foot of the village with cycle route on site. Walks. Motorway exit: Pouilly-en-Auxois 10 km away. Parking in the village.
