The Ouche valley is a unique place, full of mystery and magic. Many legends come to life here, like the one about the arrival every year-end of a man with a long white beard, dressed all in red, who comes to treat himself to a ride on the steam train! Welcome aboard Santa's steam train!
It's a journey that will give older children the chance to rediscover their childhood spirit and meet the man who made them dream so much when they were little.
Join us on Saturday 14/12/2024 and Sunday 15/12/2024 at 2.30 p.m. at Bligny-sur-Ouche station (Côte d'Or), for a trip back to the beginning of the 20th century and the magic of Christmas.
Come aboard a majestic steam train in the company of railway elves for a journey on a historic line dating back to 1832 to meet Father Christmas.
On your way, at an abandoned station in the middle of the forest, you'll discover that the legend of Father Christmas travelling in his steam train is very real! Climb aboard his historic 1910 steam locomotive and discover Santa's carriage, decorated in a way that will instantly take you back to childhood.
On site, you can sample Mexican hot chocolate from the Purokao chocolate factory, buy souvenirs and warm up by a log fire in the heart of nature.
