The Fontenelle washhouse is only accessible on foot or by bike, in the direction of Ecutigny. Dating from 1865, it was built near the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa and is fed by a perennial spring. Numerous pieces of tile and a large quantity of pottery shards from the Gallo-Roman and medieval periods were discovered. Other items found on site confirm that the site was also once home to a blacksmith's forge.
Picnic tables are available for you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the site and the hedged farmland.
