L'art et la Table : Exposition collective peintures et céramiques

To open the season, the Galerie Herbert-Fort is presenting an exhibition by French artists focusing on ceramics and exploring the different roles they play in modern life.
Utilitarian, of course, like the morning coffee cup, but also social and convivial like a dinner service, artistic or contemplative when ceramics become a work of art.
This exhibition will showcase the work of two painters whose paintings depict ceramics in different settings: Anastasia Dukhanina and Sophie Dumas (oil paintings).
A number of ceramists will also be taking part in the exhibition, including Cécile Lowy's earthenware, Brigitte Chassang's wood-fired stoneware and porcelain, and utilitarian pieces by Sylvie Fresnais-Didier, Martha Stahlkopf and others.
