At the top of the wooded massif overlooking the village of Lusigny-sur-Ouche to the east, an isolated rock is home to an almost human-sized black Virgin standing with her hands open towards the valley, as if to bless it. From her promontory, she seems to stand vigilant over an ocean of greenery, placing Lusigny under her protection.
To get there, take the footpath to the right of the "La Clé des sources" restaurant. It will take you just 20 minutes to climb the path that leads to the breathtaking viewpoint over the village. Along the way, you'll come across the "cabotte", a small stone house that was once used to house tools, take a siesta or eat under cover... A sign of traditional farming or perhaps even the presence of vines...
