The path takes you along the heights of Pouilly-en-Auxois where stands La Madone statue which is looking after the Auxois region. What's so special about this trail ?

It's suitable for everyone. The Tourisme et Handicap label allows everyone to discover the characteristics of Burgundy's limestone forests and admire a remarkable view of the Auxois region.

Splendid panoramic view

Stunning view of Creancey

On the heights of Creancey, the Saint Etienne monument dominates the village. Built on 3 levels, the monument pays tribute to a local soldier who died in 1870. The lower level, open on three sides by arcades, is a chapel.

To see this monument, simply climb to the top of the village. As a bonus, you'll enjoy an exceptional view of the Auxois region.

The English-style park of Commarin castle is set around a huge pond. Stroll through the park and take a complete tour of the castle to discover its exterior.

Gorgeous view on the Ouche Valley

Black Virgin Mary and "the Cabotte"

On its rocky outcrop overlooking the Ouche valley, a black virgin welcomes you with a magnificent view of the village of Lusigny-sur-Ouche. To get there, take the hiking trail, but don't miss the cabotte, a small stone house once used to rest or shelter tools.
