Église Saint-Maurice

Originally built in the 13th century, Saint-Maurice church has a partial lava roof, an octagonal tufa bell tower and a sundial. It was modified during the 15th and 16th centuries. It boasts fine stained glass windows and an astonishing interior spiral staircase. A beautiful 16th-century sculpted cross bearing a piéta stands a stone's throw away, and there is a well built into a neighbouring house.
